Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is targeting another 15 years in charge of the club and insists that he misses winning titles with the Gunners having gone almost six years without a trophy. Wenger was appointed manager of the north London club back in 1996 and, having received the backing of chief executive Ivan Gazidis last week, the former Monaco boss is hoping to prolong his stay at the Emirates Stadium for a good few years yet.
"I am up for [five, 10 or 15 years]," he told the club's official website. "But it depends first of all on my club. Do they want me to stay? "Then it depends on my health as well because that is something that you consider when you get to my level. It demands a lot of energy to win football games." The Gunners' last major trophy was their FA Cup triumph in 2005 and although Wenger's side have not won the Premier League since 2004, the Frenchman insists he will continue to fight on to help the club claim some silverware. "I miss winning titles very much," Wenger added. "You only have one way [to solve it] - fight on and win again. "But I feel what is very important for us is to transform this club from a top-level club into one that has a fantastic future potential and with values that we think are important in the game. "Also there is the style of play we have and the way we behave to develop young players and give a chance to people who deserve it in life. For me that is as well very important in the history of the Club."
