Stand-in skipper of the Super Eagles, Vincent Enyeama, has said that Nigeria can in the 2014 World Cup in Brazil....

The African champions became the first side from the continent, to qualify for the competition, after the defeated Ethiopia 4-1 on aggregate and the Lille goalkeeper believes they can even go beyong the semi-finals and win it.

“[Are we going] to make an impression at the World Cup? No, we can actually win it,” he told BBC Sport.
“I wouldn’t be surprised if Nigeria win the World Cup one day – maybe with me. It’s just a matter of time and moment. Everything is possible. Impossible is nothing.”
Enyeama’s confidence goes beyong his incredible form in goal – he has kept seven successive clean sheets for his Ligue 1 club and also kept out the Walya Antelopes on Saturday – he is counting on the God factor.

“I believe in God, I believe in the Bible, which says he chooses who he chooses,” the 31-year-old explained. “What if he [God] chooses Nigeria. I don’t believe in statistics and you can never rule us out.”
