Manchester City midfielder Samir Nasri has been ruled out for two weeks with a groin injury, the Daily Mail reports..
Nasri had to be substituted during the first half of City's 3-1 victory over Newcastle United on Saturday and appears set to miss the champions' upcoming Premier League encounters with Reading, Sunderland and Norwich City over the festive period.
He is also "extremely doubtful" for the New Year's Day encounter with Stoke City, theMail adds.
Roberto Mancini has a number of injury concerns at present, with James Milner, Aleksandar Kolarov, Maicon, Jack Rodwell and Micah Richards all contending with fitness issues.
However, City captain Vincent Kompany has returned to training and is expected to be available for the visit of Reading on Saturday.
