**Manchester United are favourites to sign Barcelona's Spanish midfielder Thiago Alacantara, 22, who would cost £15m. Thiago scored a hat-trick as Spain Under-21s beat Italy 4-2 in the final of the European Championships on Tuesday. Alacantara made 15 league starts for Barca last season....


 **Liverpool are in advanced negotiations to sign Porto's Ghanaian winger Christian Atsu, 21. The Reds also expect †o complete the £6m transfer of Sevilla attacking midfielder Luis Alberto, 20, by Thursday.

**The package that takes England striker Andy Carroll from Liverpool †o West Ham could cost the London club a total £55m. The 24-year-old, who has passed a medical at Upton Park, will cost up to £19m and will sign a six-year £100,000-a-week deal.

 **Borussia Dortmund star Ilkay Gundogan admits he is open to a move abroad. Gundogan has been linked with Chelsea , Manchester United and Real Madrid this month. **Fulham hope to sign Liverpool defender Andre Wisdom, 20, on loan for next season.
