Vincente del Bosque has claimed that Brazil were lucky to defeat his side 3-0, in the FIFA Confederations Cup final.
Fred scored either side of another Neymar cracker, to ensure the Selecao won the trophy for a third consecutive time....
Sergio Ramos missed a penalty for Spain, while fellow centre back Gerard Pique was sent off.
"They maybe were a little bit lucky with their goals at the start of the first and the second halves," the 62-year-old told reporters after the match.
"But I will not make excuses for our loss. Brazil are the deserved winners and we have to congratulate them."
The former Real Madrid coach, pointed out David Luiz's sensational goal-line clearance, as a turning point in the match.
"We could have been at 1-1, but instead it went to 2-0," he lamented.
Del Bosque, who has already won the World cup and Euros with Spain, also insisted that his side performed very well in the tournament.
He said: "I think that we have done a good Confederations Cup, except for today obviously. Brazil were simply better, nothing more."
