The 25-year-old becomes the Bianconeri’s third signing of the summer following the arrivals of forwards Fernando Llorente and Carlos Tevez.
The centre-back has won six caps for Italy and was part of Cesare Prandelli’s squad for last summer’s European Championship.
Antonio Conte described Juve’s work in the transfer market as “extraordinary” during his first press conference of the season on Thursday, but expressed regret that Emanuele Giaccherini is set to join Sunderland.
