Monaco not interested in Giuly's contract again

Monaco have confirmed that Ludovic Giuly has left the club after an agreement was reached to terminate his contract.
Giuly, 36, had spent six years at Monaco before leaving in 2004 to move to Barcelona, and spells with Roma and Paris Saint-Germain followed..
Last summer, he returned to the club on a two-year deal following their relegation as he sought to try to help them secure a return to the top-flight at the first attempt. Monaco ultimately finished eighth in Ligue 2, and new manager Claudio Ranieri has now allowed the former France international to leave the club.
"I had an opportunity to live the best years of my career with Monaco," Giuly said on the club's official website. "I would like to thank the managerial team for conditions under which I finish my adventure at ASMFC."
Monaco announced that Giuly would be honoured at a ceremony on Monday ahead of the game against Tours and the club's managing director, Filips Dhondt, paid tribute to his efforts.
"Ludovic Giuly made an unforgettable impression during his two spells at AS Monaco FC," he said. "He will continue to be an iconic figure for our club."
Giuly is now searching for a new club.
