Ramsey uncertain over Van Persie future

The Dutchman recently released
a statement confirming that he
would not be signing a new
contract at the club, with his
current deal set to expire next
summer.
And following the surprise
revelation, there have been no
shortage of potential suitors for
Van Persie with Manchester
rivals City and United, as well as
Serie A side Juventus, all
reportedly keen on the striker.
But Ramsey has refused to
comment on the speculation
surrounding the Gunners
captain, and insists the Arsenal
squad know little about what his
next move will be.
The Wales captain told reporters,
"There is no need for me to get
involved in that.
"I don't know and we as players
don't know what is happening
so we will just have to wait to
see what happens."
With Van Persie’s immediate
future uncertain, scoring
responsibility will inevitably fall
upon new arrivals, Lukas
Podolski and Olivier Giroud and
Ramsey has backed the two
forwards to excel at the
Emirates.
"They are great additions to the
squad," the midfielder stated.
"Hopefully they can do their bit
for the team and we can have a
big season."
