Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero has insisted he has no injury concerns despite being substituted in the club's pre-season friendly against Wolfsburg.The Argentine was caught on the ankle by former Middlesbrough defender Emmanuel Pogatetz during the game, and was immediately replaced by Roque Santa Cruz..
However, the striker who scored the goal which won his side the Premier League title last season, says he will be ready for the curtain-raiser against Chelsea next weekend in the Community Shield.
"Good game and another victory to get us to the game on Sunday," Aguero stated on Twitter.
"The kick I received? I'm fine, thanks for asking."
City kick-off against Chelsea at Villa Park on August 12 in the Community Shield, before starting their title defence against at home to Southampton on August 18.
