Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has told striker Luis Suarez to move on from the Patrice Evra racism controversy..
Uruguay international Suarez was banned by the English Football Association for eight matches last season after being found guilty of racially abusing Manchester United fullback Evra.
Suarez faced a barrage of boos and jeers prior to and during his Olympic football appearance against Great Britain at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium on Wednesday.
The Liverpool forward branded the fans' behaviour as a 'total lack of respect', while team-mate Sebastian Coates believes his team-mate's punishment has gone too far.
Rodgers said he believes Suarez and the football public need to move on from last season's drama and concentrate on the new English Premier League campaign, which gets underway
